The undercarriage of the water powered crane 97 arriving at HEGO berth 83 in the port of Antwerp.
This fine example of industrial heritage will be restored in the HEGO workshop, together with other parts of the crane.
Finally the crane will be reassembled to working condition and become another showpiece in the MAS collection.

Our Tank Maintenance department was commissioned by LBC-TT Antwerp to carry out the cleaning and subsequently the relocation of 6 storage tanks. Thanks to the thorough preparation of the work as well as the perfect planning / timing of our engineering department, these relocation work could be carried out professionally, safely and to the full satisfaction of our client on only two days.
Study, design and fabrication of a safe car lifter for International Car Operators at Zeebrugge. Due to this new car lifter loading and discharging times from defected cars, at the terminal or onboard of the vessels, are significantly faster and safer. The new car lifter makes it possible that safe handling from defected cars today is more than possible.
Recalculate and fabricate of an incorrectly designed lifting tool within the set period. Due to the intensive cooperation between our several departments, problems and delays were avoided. The enormous time gain that could ultimately be realized for this offshore project was highly appreciated by the board members.
In cooperation with Inarti and WTS, the frame was equipped with a Siemens steering and remote control.
Initially Hego designed and builded a safe car lifting system for an Italian Car Carrier. Due to this mobile unit, load- and discharging time of immobile cars/vans etc. are enormously reduced. Today Hego is building them for several car operators.
As “time is money”, a certitude in shipping and offshore industries, our quest to increase productivity and flexibility whilst maintaining our safety policy, is a daily objective.
